Kristen Chick is the Cairo correspondent for The Christian Science Monitor, where she has covered Egypt and the region for the past three years. She covered the Arab spring in Tunisia, Egypt, Bahrain, and Libya, and the war in Syria. Chick previously lived in Egypt as a Fulbright scholar, and has also worked as a reported in Washington, DC.
