Print Journalist Foreign Policy
Megan Alpert is a fellow at Foreign Policy magazine. She has reported from Ecuador and Washington, D.C., covering stories on indigenous rights, oil development, immigration detention, and displaced people. Her previous bylines have included The Guardian, Guernica Daily, Vice Munchies, and Earth Island Journal. Before beginning her journalism career, she earned an MFA in poetry from the Bennington Writing Seminars. Her poetry has won an Orlando prize and has been published in literary journals on both sides of the Atlantic.
