Raquel Godos is a correspondent for the Spanish international news wire, EFE. She has been based in Washington, D.C. since 2011. As a journalist for the biggest Spanish language news agency in the world, she primarily focuses on Latin American and Hispanic topics. She covers U.S. Congress and American politics with a national and international perspective. Before moving to Washington, D.C., Raquel was a correspondent in Bogotá, Colombia. She studied Journalism at Carlos III University in Madrid, Spain.
