Amosu is a journalist with experience in print and broadcast reporting
and editing; content acquisition and production for online media; and
project development and negotiation of strategic alliances for international
media organizations.
The executive editor/producer for AllAfrica Global Media and its website allAfrica.com, the largest distributor of African news and information worldwide, she is responsible for content supplied by more than 100 African partners as well as by allAfrica's own reporters.
Before joining AllAfrica, Amosu was a senior editor (executive producer) at the BBC World Service in London, where she was responsible for flagship World Service programs and for award-winning African Service shows. While at the BBC, she forged a path-breaking joint venture between that media company and the South African Broadcasting Corporation. Amosu's career has also included stints as a desk editor at the Financial Times (London), a reporter for West Africa magazine and a management consultant.
