Faith Henderson
Finance and Administration Assistant

Faith Henderson is the IWMF’s finance and administration assistant. She is responsible for basic bookkeeping and accounting duties as well as general office administration tasks.
Before joining the IWMF, Henderson was an information analyst for Exegesis Consulting, where she provided administrative and financial support, among other duties. She has also worked as a grants manager in Kampala, Uganda and Washington, D.C., for the Africa Law Initiative division at the American Bar Association.
From 1997-2002, Henderson worked for Africare in Uganda and the U.S., where she coordinated various aspects of programs and project activities for seven African countries. Prior to this, she had worked for the World Bank telecommunications department. From 1995-96, Henderson worked in Ethiopia with the Ministry of Education and the Ethiopian Red Cross Society. She was a fellow in 1994-95 with the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa in Ethiopia, where she conducted research on the socio-economic conditions affecting rural women.
Henderson holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology and a master’s degree in public policy and administration from Jackson State University.
