Grainne Harrington

Grainne Harrington is a producer and reporter at BBC World Television News in London covering breaking news worldwide. She previously lived in Paris, where she worked as a presenter and reporter for Radio France Internationale, as well as reporting for The Irish Times, The Independent, NPR, Deutsche Welle and Radio Netherlands Worldwide. Grainne also worked in the BBC Paris and Brussels bureaux, covering breaking news and producing in-depth reports for BBC News and current affairs programmes from across Europe.

In 2011 she was awarded the Simon Cumbers Bursary for Development Reporting and travelled to Uganda to investigate and report on local health and development initiatives in Kampala.
