Print Journalist Freelance
Christine Bolaños is a freelance journalist covering government, education, human interest and business news from Austin, Texas. She has reported on numerous topics, including breaking stories on local bullying cases that have resulted in changes to school policy, to profiles on women of impact at NASA, Google, the FBI and more. Her most recent work has been published in Latina Style Magazine, Austin American-Statesman, Pflugerville Pflag, Round Rock Leader, The Liberty Hill Independent and Popular Hispanics. Since earning a bachelor’s degree in political science and journalism from Baylor University, Christine has received numerous state awards, including a 2010 Best of Texas award in the “Best Feature Story” category. She has worked as reporter, editor, page designer, multimedia content manager and photographer.
