Kendall Trammell is a senior producer on CNN's Global Digital Programming team, where she leads weekend programming. Based in Atlanta, Trammell coordinates with teams to create engaging frames into the day's top news through headlines, alerts and social posts that appear on and off CNN's platforms. She guest hosts Pop Life Pop Off, an entertainment digital show, and has written about culture and news. Trammell guided the programming team through some of 2020's most pivotal moments, including the protests that followed George Floyd’s death and the global response to Covid-19. Her background in breaking news, audience development and content strategy contributed to CNN's audience records, including reaching record highs on mobile. She also helped launch CNN's first entertainment newsletter Pop Life Chronicles. Trammell, a University of Georgia graduate, joined CNN in 2017 from Cox Media Group, where she developed Rare.us’ video distribution strategy and produced multimedia stories.
