Alejandra Rajal is a freelance documentary photographer based in Mexico. She studied at UPAEP in Mexico and the University of Chester in the UK. Her work focuses on social themes and how transform the world and the people. She member of Native Agency and Women Photograph. And was Nominated for the PND´s 30 (2019). In 2017 received a scholarship from IWMF to attend the Documentary Photography Festival by Native Agency in Ecuador. She has attended several workshops such as: Missouri Photo Workshop (2020) and Foundry Photojournalism Workshop (2017). She is also a grantee from Fundación Gabo (2020) and National Geographic Covid19 Fund for Journalists (2020). Her work has been published by NPR, National Geographic, The Guardian, VICE, The Financial Times, among others.
