Anna Gallegos Cannon is a digital journalist with WPLN’s forthcoming show “This Is Nashville,” in Nashville, Tennessee. She studied at the University of Houston and Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. Her focus is on digital analytics and how news organizations can use them to reach younger and more diverse audiences. She is a member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists and previously participated in Gannett’s Emerging Leaders Program and is a Chips Quinn alumna. She has previously written and reported for The Tennessean, Spectrum News 1 Austin, The Oakland Tribune and Sports Illustrated, among other publications.
