Anthony Stephens is an award-wining Liberian television and radio journalist and talk show host. He is New Narratives’ Director of Editorial and Programs and co-hosts NN’s podcasts and national radio programs. Anthony led NN’s coverage of war crimes trials in Switzerland and France, for war crimes committed in Liberia’s civil wars. Anthony’s work has garnered prestigious Press Union of Liberia awards, including multiple Report of the Year awards plus awards for reporting on sports, environment, mining and health issues. Anthony was a 2018 finalist (the only Liberian journalist) of the West Africa Media Excellence Conference and Awards, WAMECA, organized by the Media Foundation for West Africa. Anthony has been a fellow with New Narratives since 2015.
