Ayo Awokoya is a British-Nigerian investigative journalist based in the UK. She has worked and written for Thomson Reuters, the Guardian, New Humanist, GQ, and the Financial Times. She has been awarded the Frontline Club award, the Jamal Khashoggi Award for Courageous Journalism and was shortlisted for the 2019 Foreign Press Award in the print category. Her work has been supported by the Pulitzer Centre and Freelance Investigative Reporters and Editors (FIRE), and IWMF.
