Boer Deng is the Washington, D.C. correspondent for The Times of London, covering politics. Before joining The Times in 2015, she was a reporter for Nature, the science journal and wrote for publications including The Economist, The Washington Post, Slate magazine and The Atlantic. In 2018, she was selected as an IWMF Fellow to report from Guadalajara, Mexico. She is a graduate of Dartmouth College with a degree in English Literature and Chemistry.
