Radio Journalist
Chelu Matuzya is a senior radio journalist with Tanzania Broadcasting Corporation (TBC). She holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in journalism, majoring in broadcasting from the Tumaini University –Iringa Campus. She has won several media awards such as Excellence in Journalism Award Tanzania (EJAT), 2016 edition in the agriculture category. September 2017, she participated in International Women Foundation Fellowship (IWMF) on Great Lake Reporting Zanzibar Trip, In December 2018 she was awarded a grant by Tanzania Media Foundation (TMF) to cover a story on the effects of malnutrition for children. She was also fortunate to work as intern at Deutsche Welle in Born Germany in an exchange program in June to December 2011.
