Daniele is a documentary photographer and freelance photojournalist who has lived in Guatemala since 2007. He focuses his work on covering human rights and social justice issues in Latin America. He works and publishes with various international media outlets, including GEO Magazine (Germany and France), Stern, National Geographic Proof, TIME, Newsweek, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, The California Sunday Magazine, Bloomberg BusinessWeek, 6mois, Revue 21, Al Jazeera America, Volkskrant, Univision News, The British Journal of Photography, The Guardian, Internazionale and il Reportage, among others. He has also contributed as a photographer for humanitarian organizations including UNICEF, UNHCR and ICRC. His work has been exhibited internationally (New York, Thailand, Cambodia, El Salvador, Moscow, Italy, Germany and Guatemala) and has been recognized by World Press Photo, Picture of the Year, The National Press Photographers Association, FotoEvidence, PDN, and Visa pour l'Image among others.
