Edna Amie Ngegba was born in the southern region in a town called Sierra Rutile. She attended the UBC primary school in Moriba Town and later relocated to Makeni in 2008 to further her high school at st Joseph's secondary school from Jss 1 to SSS3 and later enrolled at the Northern Polythetic where she attained her Higher's Certificate secondary in Home Economics. Diploma course in Mass Communication And Certificate in development Communications at UNIMAK, and currently pursuing a degree in Mass Communication at EBK University. Presently she is the HOD of Home Economics at Benevolent Secondary School. She is also serving as the producer of programs at Radio Maria Makeni, Edna is the only female court Journalist in the North ,who is reporting on both Magistrate and high court on all the various media houses in Bombali. As a renounced female Journalist she has won so many Awards 🏅 for doing her best as an Activist, She is currently the award-winning best female journalist since 2020 to date in Makeni and among the best 50 influential women Award in Bombali. Through her hard work, she has been working with both national and international organizations on fellowship. She has trained so many students in Journalism from the University of Makeni (UNIMAK) Who passes through radio maria for practicals . She is a mentor to many young people. Edna is presently serving as the regional chairperson for women in the media {WIMSAL}North.
