Elena Fonseca is a Uruguyan radio journalist whose reporting focuses on feminism, human rights, and ageism. Fonesca is the founder of Cotidiano Mujer, a human rights-focused journalism collective. For over 20 years, Fonseca produced and hosted Nunca en Domingo, the only feminist radio program in Uruguay. As well as editing the Cotidiano Mujer magazine, she co-authored a book on domestic violence. The IWMF funded Fonesca’s project transforming Nunca en Domingo into a podcast.
