
Elizabeth Culliford is a freelance journalist who previously reported on major social media companies and online platforms as a correspondent for Reuters. She was part of the news agency's 2020 U.S. election reporting team and has held roles in digital news, audience development and innovative storytelling from London, New York, San Francisco and Nairobi. At Reuters, Elizabeth worked on projects that won Gerald Loeb, Scripps Howard, SABEW Best in Business and Society of News Design awards. Elizabeth has a BA in English Language and Literature from the University of Oxford and an NCTJ Diploma in Journalism. Her grant from IWMF's Howard G. Buffett Fund for Women Journalists will be used to study data journalism at Columbia Journalism School's Lede Program.
