Ellen Schmidt is a freelance photojournalist based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. A graduate of the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities Hubbard School of Journalism, she has previously interned for MPR News and the Star Tribune. She also was the multimedia editor at the Minnesota Daily.
