Ema O'Connor is the reproductive policy reporter at BuzzFeed News' Washington D.C. bureau. She reports on federal government activity and policy pertaining to abortion, women's health care, and religious freedom. Ema started at BuzzFeed three years ago as a breaking news reporter in New York, before joining the politics team. Before BuzzFeed, Ema was employed at The Guardian in London on the books desk. She graduated from Columbia University with a Bachelor's degree in literature and art history before deciding to follow the real money-maker: journalism.
