Eulimar Núñez is a Venezuelan journalist with more than 15 years of experience in award-winning newsrooms and on multi-disciplinary teams. She recently joined Telemundo as the Editorial Manager of the news digital team. Five years ago, when Univision was expanding and creating its first top-flight news digital team, she was hired as its only Health Reporter. Not long after, she was promoted to Health Editor. There, she worked on grant-funded projects, her own enterprise pieces and countless breaking news stories as a reporter and editor. In 2018, she was selected by the Online News Association as one of 25 journalists to participate in the Women’s Leadership Accelerator Program, a yearlong intensive program that supercharges the leadership and management skills of women who are pushing digital innovation. Back in Caracas, she worked for five years at El Nacional, one of the biggest newspapers back then, before moving to Miami in 2010 to join the BBC as a multimedia reporter for the Latin American service. There she produced text, radio, video and multi-format stories that aired worldwide. In the past years, she has focused her coverage on health, gender and minority issues.
