Ingrid Gercama is a freelance journalist & anthropologist covering environmental, wildlife trade and health stories worldwide. She has reported for and published in publications from more than fifteen countries, including BBC News, The Guardian, Süddeutsche Zeitung, The Sunday Times, De Groene Amsterdammer and NRC Handelsblad. Ingrid is based in the Netherlands and has been awarded various reporting grants, is an International Press Institute Fellow, and won the Lorenzo Natali Media Prize.
