Jennifer González is a freelance reporter and editor based in Aguascalientes, Mexico. She has been a news reporter, editor and a radio and podcast producer. She covers politics, environment, corruption, transnational companies and human rights in the Centro-Bajío region in Mexico. She began her career in 2009 covering politics and health for La Jornada Aguascalientes; later, she worked for Radiogrupo, Líder Empresarial and Newsweek in her city. She has been correspondent for Expansión Política and Enfoque Noticias. She was a field producer for Telemundo Noticias and CBS. As a freelance journalist she has collaborated with Mexicanos Contra la Corrupción y la Impunidad (MCCI), Quinto Elemento Lab, Proceso, El Universal, Vice World News, The Telegraph and El Hilo Podcast. She was one of the 2019 recipients of the ICFJ-Connectas Fellowhip. She has been a member of Connectas Hub since 2020 and was part of the team awarded with the 2020 Latin American Award for Investigative Journalism for the series Los Explotadores del Agua.

Cubre política, medio ambiente, corrupción, empresas transnacionales y derechos humanos en el Centro-Bajío de México.
