John Okot is a freelance journalist based in Northern Uganda. He loves investigative and innovative journalism, with a focus on health, human rights, environment, and humanitarian reporting. Currently, he contributes for The Observer Uganda, Stories 4 Human Rights, as well as Xhinhua, Thomson Reuters Foundation, and of recent, The Christian Science Monitor. Previously, he also worked for The Monitor Publications. John is passionate about linguistics and literature.
