Julia Rendleman is a freelance photojournalist based in Richmond, Virginia. Previously she was a staff photographer at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and daily newspaper in south Louisiana and southern Indiana. Julia is receiving funding from the IWMF to continue her work on the implications of drug use and drug policy on women as it relates to the opioid crisis. She is particularly interested peer-to-peer recovery programs.
