Lasha Madan is a reporter and producer based in Oakland, CA, currently producing stories with the podcast 99% Invisible. Her work largely focuses on themes of culture, history, identity, and moments of collective cultural transition. Previously, she worked as an Associate Producer for According to Need, a multi-series podcast which interrogated the homeless services system in Alameda County. Her work on that show received a duPont-Columbia award in 2021. Previously, Lasha worked as a freelance producer, and her work can be found on podcasts, terrestrial radio, and in museum installations.
