Lesly Succès

Lesly SUCCÈS is better known as a poet, journalist and cultural operator. He studied psychology at the Faculty of Ethnology (UEH). For 12 years, he has worked in humanitarian organizations in Artibonite, the North and the North-West. He is currently President of the PEN Gonaïves Center (poets, essayists and short story writers), an association bringing together writers and journalists in Gonaïves. He was local president in 2016 within the young international chamber Gonaïves independence and vice-president of the Northern region in 2022 at JCI Haiti. Since 2017, he has served as vice-president of the board of directors of the Alliance française in Gonaïves, member of the board of directors of the community school of arts and crafts (ECAM), founding member of the Pierre Richard lions club Duchemin and programming manager at Résidences Bois de Bry. In 2017, he collaborated with Maghaïti and the daily Le National with which he continues to collaborate to this day. It deals with themes that deal with current affairs, culture and society(in French and Creole). He is at the initiative of the Festival of Contemporary Haitian Literature (PAWOLI/The Power of VerbE and the Jacques Stephen Alexis Week.)
