Megan Clement is a journalist and editor specialising in gender, human rights, international development and social policy. She also writes about Paris, where she has lived since 2015. Her reporting has appeared in The Guardian, The Sydney Morning Herald, Al Jazeera, The New Humanitarian and News Deeply, among other publications. Between 2017 and 2018, Megan was Managing Editor of Women’s Advancement Deeply, and its earlier incarnation, Women & Girls, at News Deeply. Before that, Megan was a foundation editor of The Conversation, helping launch the site in Australia, the UK and the US. She was Deputy Editor of the UK and subsequently the Global edition.
