Morris Dogga is a young print Journalist working for Juba Monitor Newspaper. He is a hard working journalist best known for reporting on gender issues, court and crimes, rape and sexual harassment, the extractive industry, politics and education. His reporting on the Irregularities in the South Sudanese Transitional Parliament has led to change of the way the lawmakers conduct business in the lower house. In 2017, he was awarded by the Journalist for Human Rights for his reporting on gender-based violence. He is a Fellow with the IWMF's African Great Lakes In-Country Programming in South Sudan. Morris is also in charge of “This Week in Parliament” a weekly page highlighting events unfolding in South Sudan Parliament and the Regional parliaments. As a hard working journalist, Morris spends his free time reading books.
