Najjat Omar is a female journalist who lives in the Tabora Region of Tanzania, originally from Zanzibar. She has worked as a journalist since 2013, with 6 years of experience in the industry. She holds a Certificate of Journalism and she focuses her work on stories specialized in women's and girl's rights. She was a fellow during IWMF's In-Country Training in Tanzania from 2017 to 2018.
