Freelance Reporter
Paige Sutherland is a freelance reporter in Santiago, Chile. Before moving abroad, she worked at NPR affiliate stations in Boston and New Hampshire. She's a proud Bostonian, who graduated from Holy Cross. She also holds a master’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University. She’s reported long-term in Chicago, Washington, D.C., Boston, South Africa, as well as a month-long stay in Berlin, Germany, where she won the 2017 RIAS Fellowship Award for a four-part radio and digital series on drug policy. She’s been published in various international outlets including NPR, the BBC, PRI’s The World, VICE, DW and Duolingo.
