In Memoriam
Pauline Bangirana seeks to provoke change in gender justice through her writing. She is a woman, journalist, writer, content creator, communications specialist, Sunday school teacher and a lover of children. She is passionate about creating change through the stories I write. Over time, as a journalist she has come to learn that issues dealing with justice and gender are under-reported and believes that the IWMF’s Gender Justice Reporting Initiative is a great opportunity to enhance her knowledge on how best to report and tell stories of gender issues in Uganda. Pauline passed away shortly after being accepted to the Gender Justice Reporting Initiative. In the wake of this tragedy, the IWMF is dedicated to keeping her passion for reporting on gender issues alive as we carry out this program.
