Pinar Istek is a Chicago-based freelance photographer and videographer. She is from Turkey and has moved to the U.S for education. She holds an MA in journalism from the University of Missouri School of Journalism and is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Texas at Austin School of Journalism.
