Sabano Jesca

I am a female Ugandan journalist with over five years experience mainly in the Print Media. I hold a bachelor's degree in Mass Communication from Uganda Christian University Mukono and also several other certificates attained from various trainings on health including Mobilising the Media to Fight Covid -19 (MMFC), Training of Journalists on emerging Health Technologies, I have attended trainings organised by UNDP, WHO, NGOs in Uganda and others. I am currently a Freelance reporter for the Daily monitor newspaper/ Monitor online and KFM Radio. I report on Health/science and human rights. In 2019 i attended a training with Taboom Media in Cape town South Africa. I also won the CHARM 2020 Media Fellowship. I have also been a board member of the Human Rights Network for Journalists Uganda (HRNJ-Uganda), Uganda Journalists Association (UJA) and Uganda Journalists Network (UJN).
