Saira Ramos is a reporter for the free newspaper Publinews Guatemala. Her work focuses on politics, women, indigenous peoples, the LGBTIQ+ population, and human rights. She is currently working towards a bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences at the University of San Carlos. In recent years she has attended journalism workshops and on data and investigative journalism.
