Freelance Journalist
Sarah Souli is an American freelance print journalist based in Athens, Greece. She previously worked in Tunisia for three years, covering politics, terrorism, border control, environmental issues, underground culture, and women’s rights. Her favorite stories are those that connect personal lives to broader political narratives. Her work has appeared in Quartz, the Economist, Al Jazeera, the Guardian, Vice (Magazine, Motherboard, Munchies, News, Noisey), Al-Monitor and France24. From 2013-2014, she was a fellow at the Italian creative studio Fabrica, where she worked as a staff writer for COLORS Magazine. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Political Science.
