Shannon Sims is the Economy and Government Editor for Latin America at Bloomberg, where she helps fine-tune Bloomberg’s reporting from across the region. She is originally from Texas but has been based in Brazil for many years and speaks Spanish and Portuguese. For several years she worked as a freelance reporter for publications like Bloomberg Businessweek, the Washington Post and the New York Times. She has reported untold stories from across the world, including through IWMF grants to Rwanda and Zanzibar.
