Shuang Li, a native of Chengdu in China’s Sichuan province, worked for Reuters in Shanghai as a video journalist for almost a decade. Her reporting, producing and presenting focused on trends and changes in China and how they affect people’s lives. She covered a wide range of stories from around the country, from the North Korean border, through Inner Mongolia milk farms, to the factory towns in South China. Shuang has an undergraduate degree in literature, and is now studying documentary filmmaking at the University of California’s Graduate School of Journalism.
