Sofía Raquel García Benítez is originally from El Salvador and currently lives in the municipality of Apopa, in the country's capital. Two years ago she began her higher studies at the Central American University "José Simeón Cañas," to receive her Bachelor's degree in Social Communication. At the end of 2018, she attended a workshop at the same institution where she specialized in investigative journalism. As of 2019, she began working in the Digital Comunica Magazine where she has gained experience as a writer working on investigative pieces, interviews, photography and the creation of final products.

Sofía Raquel García Benítez es originaria de El Salvador y actualmente vive en el municipio de Apopa, en la capital del país. Hace dos años inició sus estudios superiores en la Universidad Centroamericana "José Simeón Cañas", para acreditarse como Licenciada en Comunicación Social. A finales del 2018 cursó un taller en la misma institución donde se especializó y conoció su potencial en el periodismo investigativo. A partir del año 2019 comenzó a laborar en la Revista Digital Comunica donde se ha desarrollado como redactora de notas de investigación, gestión de entrevistas, toma de fotografías, y la elaboración del producto final.
