Stephen Franklin is a Pulitzer Prize finalist and former foreign correspondent for the Chicago Tribune. He has trained journalists from Nepal to Sudan, and taught at Northwestern University, University of Illinois and DePaul University. He was the editor and project manager for “Covering Islam, a guide for journalists and everyone.” He was a US Peace Corps Volunteer in Turkey.
