Victoria Estrada is a producer at the radio show and podcast Latino USA. She has produced long-form audio stories about women’s reproductive rights in Guatemala and undocumented migrants returning to Mexico, among other topics, and was the lead producer for USA v. Garcia Luna, a podcast series about the infamous former head of security in Mexico. In 2020, she was a recipient of the Adelante Fellowship from the International Women’s Media Foundation to report on underage migrants from Tapachula, on the Mexico-Guatemala border. In 2022 she was awarded with the National Journalism Award in Mexico. Before joining Latino USA, she was an editor at Radio Ambulante, NPR’s award winning Spanish language podcast. Victoria was born and grew up in the Juárez/El Paso border.
