Ylenia Gostoli is an independent journalist who has covered social change, conflict and rights in ten countries across the Middle East and Europe while based out of London, Rome and Ramallah, West Bank. Ylenia also worked as an online producer for Al Jazeera English. Her work on the impact of EU refugee policies on Syrians seeking shelter in the UK was shortlisted for an award two years before the refugee crisis made headlines.
