The International Women’s Media Foundation (IWMF) implements dozens of programs for journalists around the world every year. You can support the IWMF’s mission by helping us select potential fellows, grantees and award winners.
The IWMF’s portfolio of programs includes: The African Great Lakes Reporting Initiative, the Latin America Reporting Initiative Adelante, the Courage in Journalism Awards, and the Howard G. Buffett Fund for Women Journalists.
You can volunteer for the IWMF from your own home or office for just a few hours per month. All you need is an Internet connection and a passion for supporting the next generation of media leaders.
Interested in joining our global community of dedicated volunteers? Email Hannah Stonebraker at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
About the IWMF: The IWMF is dedicated to strengthening the role of women journalists worldwide. The media is not truly free and representative without the equal voice of women. Since 1990, we have celebrated the courage of women journalists who overcome threats and oppression to report and bear witness to global issues. Through our programs and grants we empower women journalists with the training, opportunities, and support to become leaders in the news industry.
