Doug Mitchell is the founder and director of NPR’s “Next Generation Radio.” It’s a digital media professional development camp for college students and early career professionals. Also, Doug is Board Chair for the Center for Collaborative Journalism and a member of the Board of Trustees for the American Press Institute (API). Doug is very proud to say, often, that the alumni of Next Gen are 75% women and more than 60% women of color.
