Article 19

Judy Taing leads the international portfolio on sex, sexuality and gender rights at ARTICLE 19. She developed and spearheads ARTICLE 19’s cross-cutting gender strategy, “The Mx Method”, ensuring that intersectionality and equity are at the forefront of the organization’s global strategy, operations, and internal processes. Prior to joining ARTICLE 19, she worked in the Office of the Co-Investigating Judges at the United Nations Assistance to the Khmer Rouge Trials in Cambodia. She holds an MSc in Human Rights from the London School of Economics and a BA in Political Science and Development from the University of California Berkeley.
