Julian E. Rogers

Julian E. Rogers is a Barbados born Caribbean broadcaster, journalist, and media manager with over 50 years experience working at the highest levels of the industry across the region. He retired as the Managing Director of Jamaica Observer Limited. Rogers is a pioneer in media as a manager, publisher, journalist, and broadcaster. He is a much sought-after moderator for discussions on regional development subjects and has done so for both public and private sector interests. A proud graduate of the University of West Indies, he was one of the first to join its communications programme and subsequently served as an advisor in the development of the degree programmes. Rogers is a director of UWItv and of the Media Institute of the Caribbean. Rogers was made a Member of the British Empire MBE) by Queen Elizabeth II on
the recommendation of the Government of Barbados for his 50-year contribution to the field of broadcasting.”
