Madison Forker is the IWMF’s Communications Coordinator, supporting the organization’s communications strategies. Passionate about weaving together new and traditional media strategies, Madison implements many of the organization’s digital communications efforts and assists with media relations. After hours, she can be found listening to the latest true crime podcast, searching for the perfect oat milk latte, or making friends with the dogs she meets in her apartment’s elevator.
Madison joined the IWMF in July 2019 with a background in nonprofit and association communications. Her love for the intersection of gender parity and news media grew during her undergraduate career at The George Washington University’s School of Media and Public Affairs, where she saw closely the importance of cultivating an honest, equitable and diverse press.
Madison holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Communication from GWU, with a minor in French Language and Literature.
