VJ is a Senior Advisor at Xykon, and also serves as CPD’s Chief Information Security Officer. VJ has over 20 years of experience in security and technology leadership. His efforts have led to streamlined processes, adoption of security standards, efficiency increases and millions of dollar in cost savings for small to large organizations. He has pioneered several approaches which have been well received in the Public Sector, NGO, and Security communities. Some of his highlights include pioneering SMS based election monitoring, creating coalitions for sharing threat intelligence, and innovative approaches to qualitative risk assessments. VJ has conducted several security audits and risk assessments for organizations ranging from large banks to federal, local and state governments. VJ speaks regularly on security matters and his efforts have been profiled in several technology articles.
