Impact of COVID-19 on the Hepatitus B Vaccine in Buganda – Episode 2
In episode one, we looked at the genesis of Hepatitis B vaccination in Buganda Kingdom, narrations from various recipients and how they missed their vaccines, due to the lock down because their movements were restricted. In episode two, we have looked at how the lockdown led to expiry of various vaccines at the National Medical Stores. The affected recipients are also contemplating on suing Government for failing to put in place measures on how they could have received their Jabs, despite the Lockdown. Government is also appealing to all those who missed their Jabs to go to various vaccination centers and receive them because vaccines are available.
