Social Entrepreneurship in South Sudan

September 5, 2018 | Sarah Jones | KWQC

The UN Special Representative for Children and Armed conflict is visiting South Sudan for the first time since taking office last year. More than 60% of the country is under 24 years old. Unemployment is a major issue, especially since peace is fragile and basic necessities are hard to come by. KWQC’s Sarah Jones traveled to the capital city as an International Women Media Foundation Fellow. In this report, she shows us how social entrepreneurs are meeting people’s needs through science and technology.
